Bad news! There is some bad weather coming to the southern United States. Snow and ice. We don't really build our houses or electrical systems to withstand that kind of weather since we get it so rarely, so the power may go out and I may not be able to work on the site. I am still trying to work on the Hellenic Deities page, but it is an awful lot of work considering just how much information there is for each deity. Thank you for your patience.

Weekly Astrology section to be deleted after this week

     The Weekly Astrology section will stay up this week, and then I will delete it. This is because I do not have the energy to upkeep a weekly blog. You guys can still use the daily report in the astrology calculator and use the c.ai bot to interpret the positions of the planets. I am thinking about replacing the weekly blog with a calendar of astrological events.

    But right now I need to rest. I feel like I have overworked myself this week. Thank you for understanding.

     I am going to be taking a break from working on this site while I am sick so I can rest properly. I will still put up this week's astrology forecast, of course!

    AdSense is still reviewing my site, so there are still no ads. That makes it look pretty but I'm also not making anything off of my work right now. But hopefully that will be fixed over the weekend.

Update 01/10/2024

       I am sick and had to go to the doctor and rest so I didn't get anything done today. Sorry. Turns out that making an app is expensive. Like Apple charges you $100/year just to have an App Store developer account. I don't have that kind of money right now, so until I am financially stable (out of college) or this site starts raking in $100/year (doubtful) there probably won't be an iOS app. I could still try an Android version though. 

      I know that some people may still need an offline reference to use in their practice, and so I am going to convert the content on this site into a book format. I plan on there being an eBook, a PDF, a mini printable version for closeted practitioners (I see you guys), and a physical full color book for sale online. But all that is a while away! I haven't even gotten started converting the website's content into a book form, much less publishing it.

      I have planned some more pages: a shop (I don't get money from it, it's just links to other places, but I put them in an easy to find place so it is more convenient), an update to the learning resources, and a page of good Tumblr blogs that I think are good for further reading and reference. 

      But right now, I'm working on the Hellenic Deities page. I am going to include the Olympians (I didn't know whether or not to include Hestia because in one myth she gives up her throne on Olympus to make room for Dionysus. I am including her, but I don't know if I should list her as an Olympian), some of the Titans, Gaia, Hypnos, Thanatos, Chaos, Hekate, Ouranos, Eros, the Muses, Hades (also didn't know if he technically counted as an Olympian), Persephone, and some various lesser gods like nymphs. I also want to include a section in the learning resources on how to practice Hellenic polytheism, covering topics like miasma, kharis, praying, offerings, and veiling.

I have started working on a mobile app. It won't be anything fancy because mobile apps are expensive to make. It will work online and offline though. I understand that offline access is important to people living in areas with bad or little internet, or those who cannot afford home internet. I grew up in a rural area with very bad and very expensive internet, so I always downloaded things that I wanted to refer to later, or copy and pasted them into the notes app. 

This site is still being reviewed for monetization through ads. The site is entirely done, but I am still redoing the Hellenic Deities page and adding more learning resources. If you need anything from the Hellenic Deities section, refer to Wikipedia or the old site. The old site will always be up and I will never take it down.

Edit: Work on the mobile app has been stalled. It was almost fully functional, but in order to put it on the app store I will need to pay $100/year plus what my app building service would charge me monthly. I will wait until I have more steady income, because I am in an in-between area of my life right now. 

    I am going to add more learning resources and a shop. I won't make any money from the shop, so it will just be a list of links to other sites where you can buy things. Thought it would be cool to have all of those products in one place, you know?

    I am still working on the Hellenic Deities page. However, the site is fully functional and I would consider it 100% complete. I am just adding extra stuff now. The Deities page will include the Olympians, Hades, Hestia, Persephone, Hekate, Gaia, and Rhea. There will also be small sections describing various nature spirits and myths. I also want to add a section about concepts in Hellenic polytheism about miasma, kharis, etc, but I think I will put that in Learning Resources.

    On top of moving my digital grimoire to this site, I am working on making a physical grimoire. I also went back to school from Christmas break this week, so that sucks. And I've been sick since before Christmas with this awful cough. So I am trying my best I can. Please be patient with me.

This is because Adsense will not run ads on my site if it has unfinished pages. Those pages are still going to be on the site, they are just unpublished while I am working on them.
